Controversial theory!

OK, this link is to a page about a contraversion theory from biology. When it was first proposed, people were outraged and said it was wrong, saying “spontaneous generation” was the answer, not this theory. People called it “just a theory”.

Now it is the very baseline of modern biology and medicine; without it we would have to resort to supernatural explanations, and would be much worse off.

The National Organization for Marriage has an operating budget of nine million dollars, which they are spending to convince voters to deny me my right to marriage, with their main argument being that children need a mom and a dad. 

As someone who’s tutored children in some rough areas of Los Angeles, let me just say this:

You know what children really need? CHILDREN NEED NINE MILLION DOLLARS.

Just think what we could accomplish if these idiots put their time, effort and bags of money into something important (like saving children, curing diseases) rather than bigotry and discrimination.

Violent Videogames Reduce Hostility, Says Study

The study, conducted by Dr. Christopher J. Ferguson, gave 103 young adults a frustrating task to perform. Afterwards, they would be randomly selected to play no game, a non-violent game, a violent game as a hero, or a violent game as a villain. “The results suggest that violent games reduce depression and hostile feelings in players through mood management,” said Dr. Ferguson.
